Maria Talangrania
A group of humans followed the noble lady Maria Queen Talangrania. She had known King since their childhood and they had spent many hours together. She had fallen in love with him but when she learned about King's love for Anarriima she knew that he would reject her. When the rule of King failed and the humans scattered, Maria brought her people on a magnificent voyage. She spent months telling tales of a wonderful land beyond the Great Sea to the west. She inspired courage and faith in her people, who spent their time building large sea worthy ships and preparing for their long journey. King tried to change Maria's mind since he believed, like so many others, that there was nothing beyond the Great Sea. He never found out why Maria was so set on leaving the continent of Aspenta. Nearly a year after the elves and dwarves left the human lands, Maria set sail west. This was the last time King ever saw his best friend, and many humans from Aspenta believed that Maria and her followers sailed to their deaths.
Maria led her armada of ships across the Great Sea, further than even the angels had travelled. The armada endured stormy weather and calm seas, and after a journey that lasted over a year, when their rations and hope was failing, they finally made landfall on an exotic beach. Maria named the land for Talangrania, in honour of herself, and her people spread out across the lush and wild land to form the Queendom of Talangrania, ruled by Queen Maria Talangrania.
Throughout the Age of Creation, the Talangranian humans prospered and spread their influence throughout the continent of Talangrania. The Queendom of Talangrania became divided as distances between cities and villages grew, and many nations appeared in the far-away exotic land. Because of the divide between these nations, and the difference in opinion, civil wars and smaller wars erupted in Talangrania. Some nations invaded other nations.
Some Talangranians had heard tales of the continent of Aspenta far to the east from where all humans came, a land with fairytale elves, stout divine dwarves, and powerful dragons and magic. These people, tired of the wars that raged in Talagrania, sailed east in hopes of returning to the continent of their ancestors. Instead of reaching Aspenta, they found numerous smaller peaceful islands to the east of Talangrania that they settled, Decades of searching brought them to another large continent to the east, which they named Sillia. As time passed, the Aspentans and the Talangranians lost all notions of each other, and both became legends and myths in each others' history.
